Kathleen Anderson, MD
Kathleen B. Anderson MD earned her Bachelors degree in biology at
Stanford University, followed by her Medical degree at UCLA in 1985. She received her internship and residency
training in Family Practice at Santa Monica UCLA medical center. Following completion of her formal training
in 1988, Dr Anderson pursued her career in private practice, most recently in
Agoura Hills, CA. In addition to general
medicine, she has pursued additional training in anxiety and depressive disorders,
sleep disorders including OSA and insomnia, and woman's health issues.
Her personal interest in cardiovascular risk reduction coupled with the evolving knowledge of the link between OSA and those risks, led her to seek further training in the diagnosis and management of obstructive sleep apnea. She is currently a member of the American Board of Family Practice, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and is co-director of the Focus Center for Sleep Apnea and Snoring. She was honored with the Patient's Choice Award in 2008.
Dr Anderson currently resides in Newbury Park with her son and daughter where they enjoy an active lifestyle.
